My Favorite Videos
It's hard to remember what life was like before YouTube. I've saved some of my favorite
videos and today I even made the first of my own. I figured I'd better keep up before I get left behind!
Our Pismo Beach Vacation
(great music so turn up your speakers!) — My husband Bill is a great
photographer and these are some of the best photos of our January 2010 vacation in Pismo Beach and the
beach towns up and down the central California coast. I figured out how to make a slide show video, added music, and I have to
say not bad for my first one.
The Best Anti-Brat Advertisement —
I like kids most of the time but I hate brats all of the time. You too?
Turn up your speakers, you're going to crack up when you see this ad. This
should be shown to every high school student in America several times a week!
Bailey! Play Dead! —
I've watched this video so many times I can't remember how many and I still laugh out loud everytime I watch it. It's from the Letterman
Show and it's been on YouTube so maybe you've seen it but even if so, it's gonna make you laugh again.
The Onslaught of Beauty —
When I was a child, I thought I was pretty in a childlike way but like
all little girls, I wanted to be beautiful.
From looking at old photos of my childhood, I think I was about 3 when I
started curling my
straight-as-a-board hair, dressing up in my mom's clothes, lathering on
her lotions and perfumes, and experimenting with her makeup. Back when I
was a child, these were just fun and
innocent things to do. Today, however, childhood beauty has a whole different
set of implications. Watch this video and you'll see what I mean. Every
parent should watch this it!
Einstein the Parrot — When you watch this video, you're not going to believe what you're seeing. The
first time I watched it, I thought no way, there's not a bird in the world that's this smart. But the video
clip is real and so is Einstein. Warning: If after you watch this video
you want to run right out and get yourself one of these little charmers, read
this article first. African Greys don't all talk,
and they aren't all or always this smart or this adorable either!
The Dancing Dog — Have you ever heard of Rookie and Carolyn Scott? If not, you're going to love this
video! You won't believe the amazing dance routine that Rookie and Carolyn have put
together to the song You're the One That I Want, so turn up your speakers and
get ready, the first time I saw it I was laughing and clapping right along with the
audience and unless you're a total stick-in-the-mud, you will be too!

The Europeans have us Americans beat by a mile when it comes to advertising. Check out this ad for Carson Gold
Socks. It's an absolute crack up and it'll sure give you something to think about next time you're
smooching with your honey! (This is an .mpe file so it takes a bit of time to load . . . it's worth it
though.)
One Really Smart Dog —
I always thought my little Bailey, who probably knew more words and phrases than most 2-year-olds, was pretty darn smart.
Then I saw this video and I thought, "Now that's a smart dog!" Be prepared, you're going to want to watch this
