Fairies
A married couple in their early 60s was celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary in a quiet, romantic restaurant.
Suddenly a tiny little fairy appeared on their table.
She said, "Hi! I'm the anniversary fairy! Every month I pick the nicest married couple I can find and I reward them for being so good
to each other. Today is your lucky day and I'm going to grant each of you a wish. You go first, my dear," she said to the wife.
The wife said, "Oh my! It would be WONDERFUL to travel around the world with my husband."
The fairy waved her magic wand and POOF! Instead of sitting in a restaurant they were sitting at a table on the Queen Mary II.
The husband thought for a moment. "This is all very romantic but an opportunity like this will never come again.
I'm sorry, my love, but my wish is to have a wife 30 years younger than me."
The wife and the fairy were both deeply disappointed, but a wish is a wish, so the fairy waved her magic wand and POOF! The
husband became 92 years old.
The moral of the story: Men who are ungrateful should remember that fairies are female.
