eBay
eBay has become so big that it's now a household word, and I'm sure you've at least checked it out,
right? No? Well, you're missing out on a fun Internet experience because sellers, from little people
with a few things taking up space
in their garage to great big full-blown manufacturers, auction off almost
every product imaginable to the highest bidder. Seriously, you would
not believe what you can find on eBay. I thought I'd take a
look after I'd heard you could buy antiques there and that was a turning point
in my life. I'm not just talking about the fabulous things I've bought, although
I did buy a hooked rug for $100 which turned out to be worth about $1,000 . . . becoming an eBay
buyer turned me into an eBay seller, and buying and selling introduced me to a lot of great people
I never would have met otherwise. Also, selling on eBay led to learning how to write in
HTML, the code that all websites and email are written in, so that I could design my own auction pages,
which led to designing my own website. None
of this ever would have happened had I not taken that first window-shopping trip on eBay.
If you read my About Me page, you know I've moved around a lot in my life
and those 9 cities I've lived in represent 22 different houses and apartments. That's a lot of moving
and a lot of redecorating and what didn't fit into our house when we finally settled in Thousand Oaks
got packed up and put in storage and that's where it's been sitting ever since. Now I occasionally sell these long-loved items on
eBay, along with other great treasures I find when I'm out antique-ing with my
husband and my
pooch, along with baseball first day
covers that I'm selling for my father.
Unlike many eBay sellers,
no sale of mine is ever final and here's my guarantee.
"I'm not happy if you're not happy so your purchase is guaranteed for 100% of the auction
price (excluding shipping and insurance). If you receive an item that is less than
what you expected, please contact me within 7 days of receiving it and I'll do my very best
to make you smile."
Now take a look at a list of my current auctions by clicking on the eBay link below, then click on
one of the listings to see the individual auction page.
Please note that if I have nothing listed, it's because I'm taking a break which I do if I'm traveling or know I
won't be around to answer emails and make shipments. If you're a registered eBay user and you like
what you see, you can easily add me to your
Favorite Sellers list . . . pretty cool, huh!
If you've never checked out eBay before, then I hoped I've tweaked your curiosity. And if you're a seasoned
eBayer, then great, come see my auctions. And if you have any questions about buying or selling on eBay,
please don't hesitate to email me, I'd love to help!
