Last nite I didn't turn out the lites until 2am, the result of one long and crazy day, and I decided I needed to sleep
in this morning. What was I thinking!!! Have you ever heard of Simon's Cat? Watch this video, one of my very favorites.
Anyone who's ever owned a cat will totally get it FRIDAY, MARCH 4, 2011 I got a second wind tonite and decided to try out a new dessert recipe that I just got from Margie, my manicurist, who loves good food as much as I do. I was going to wait until Bill got back from Asia but this recipe kept calling, "Lin-da! Oh LIN-da!" so I finally gave in and as my sister-in-law Julia would say, YUM-O! WEDNESDAY, MARCH 9, 2011 My girlfriend Karen called this morning and said wanna go to a Jackson Browne concert tonite? I said sure! I vaguely remembered him from the 70s.

Ring a bell? Those are the three songs I remembered and he only did one of them and we didn't know any of the other 19 songs we
stayed for, all with a laid back 70s sound. It was pretty weird, it was the only concert I've ever been to where I didn't know ANY of
the music and didn't relate to it.

After the tragic earthquake in Japan and the unbelievably
devastating tsunami, I got quite a few emails and phone calls
asking, "How close are you to the ocean? Are you in any danger if a
tsunami hit the California coast?" The aswer is no, I'm not in any
danger of a tsunami
because I'm a 35-minute drive from the ocean thru mountains.
However, if an earthquake caused California to break in two
lengthwise along the San Andreas fault and the coastal half got
swallowed up by the ocean, well, that might be another story but I
let the script writers and movie goers worry about
TUESDAY, MARCH 22, 2011 I was reading in bed late last nite, at 11:26pm to be exact, and Andi was snuggled up next to me sound asleep. Suddenly without warning Andi jumped up and started barking, an unusual type of bark for her. She jumped back and forth, off and on the bed, insistently barking for about 20 seconds, finally standing right next to me and barking in my face. Then BAM! The house shook for several seconds! Yup, a 3.3 earthquake only a few miles off the coast of Malibu and Andi tried to warn me! I'm soooo amazed. I'd heard that animals could sense things like this but I've never experienced it before. My Andi, always my protector!
