well-preserved body but rather an adventure in which you skid in broadside,
totally exhausted and thoroughly used up, loudly proclaiming,

and friends who are vacationing in southern California
please stop by.
Our door's always open and coffee's always brewing and it's paradise here because the sky is always blue and the sun is always shining and we don't have any bugs or humidity in the summer or snow or sleet in the winter so come over and we'll barbeque and top off the night with a dip in the spa and a glass or
two of wine.
It doesn't get
better than this!

The Barkley Pet Hotel and Day Spa

What a jaw-dropping place.

There's a huge sparkling marble lobby, beautiful guest suites (click here to take a peek) with real kid's beds from IKEA and comforters and throw pillows and flat screen tvs, a heated pool, a grooming salon, and an indoor/outdoor day camp area the size of a small park.

Andi went to doggie day camp today.
She had a great time but I knew she would.
She loves other dogs and doggie play days!

So now I have somewhere to take her when I travel.

In case you're wondering, the cure for your separation anxiety comes at a price. With all the extras, I figure about $100/day so on a 7-day trip I'd spend more boarding Andi than I would on myself.

I wouldn't worry about her though.

And isn't that the point?

I'm finally getting over a case of the hives.

At least I think it's hives.

I really FREAKED when I first started scratching a week ago Tuesday and found hundreds of little red bumps all over my arms and legs.

That nite about 2 in the morning I started Google-ing
little red bumps on skin
and you know how your mind starts to unravel
in the middle of the night.

I quickly realized I had some sort of cooties
that Bill brought back with him from Asia
that could possibly last 6 weeks or more
(6 weeks of agonizing unbearable itching?)
and I totally lost it
and there I was at 2 in the morning
seriously considering chugging a bottle of wine
seriously needing to get a grip.

The next day I called Marilyn
one of my best friends who also happens to be my doctor
and of course, in the light of day, it wasn't cooties and
she put me on Zyrtec and here I am a week later me again.

I AM HAPPY
